Worth the money. Plus initial purchases will get a new battery once they upgrade the new battery for unit.
16 of 16 found this helpful The SDS100 is a Beast. I can pick up channels I couldn't with my BCD436HP. Also, the audio seems to be much clearer than my BCD436HP. The best thing is I took my programming from my BCD436HP (in Sentinel) and copied it right to the SDS100. Easy as pie I was up and running in minutes with programming I have spent hours on with old scanner.

Great scope for the money
2 of 2 found this helpful I am a novice when it comes to telescopes. But I have to say this scope is really easy to use. I have a 7 and 8 year old and they really love looking at the moon. You can even see Jupiter. It's small but once focused you can even make out the color bands. Overall, great scope.
