works great, but quite dusty!
This catcher works very well. Somewhere I read a review that said it doesn't fill the bags completely; I used mine today for the first leaf pickup of the season, and besides leaves, I took a little off the top of the grass. Both bags filled up to the top of the cover, and I spilled about a bushel of clippings when I removed the bags!
On the other hand,, as I continued to mow the rest of the lawn, it seemed it was taking on a lot more grass than I thought it might hold. When I went to empty the bags, they had NO clippings in them. The chute had closed, and I had no indication it had done so; the good news is, it mulched whatever it didn't pick up, which was why I didn't notice it was clogged.
So I guess the moral of that story is, if you don't mind mulching when your chute clogs, then you're gonna like this bagger!
I give it a big thumbs up! This is the second John Deere I've owned, and the bagger on the other one worked great, too. But it DOES blow up a good dust storm!

Great quality
This product is very well made. I think it's priced a little high, but I assume that's because you can't sell a bazillion of them, so, ROI is considered. As a parks and rec professional for 20+ years and a professor of same for 18, I can say that this product is commercial quality.
