Panasonic NN-CF778SBPQ Microwave.
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this to replace a Panasonic combination microwave which gave me years of good service.
Unlike the old machine the new one has no turntable, and has a drop down door as opposed to side opening.
So far I have found no problems of food being unequally cooked in microwave mode, as some other people have reported. Similarly I have found the fan assisted oven mode to be excellent, and the grill to be equally effective.
There is absolutely no doubt that the capacity of this microwave is amasing compared to a turntable version. It cooks perfectly on two shelves at the same time and the capacity to take 13" x 13" baking trays or Pyrex dishes.
Whilst I have yet to experiment with all the available combinations of oven/grill/microwave I have no doubt they will be as good as my old machine.
Despite the assurances of the manufacturer that the microwave is easy to clean I have not found it to be any easier to clean than my old microwave. I make a point of NEVER roasting in an an uncovered tray and try to avoid using the grill to cook anything that spits fat simply to minimise cleaning. The large glass bottom tray catches virtually everything that drops from the shelves above and is far easier to clean than the old glass turntables I have used before.
This is, by any standards, a large [and very heavy] piece of equipment and is probably more sophisticated than most people need. However for versitility and capacity it can only be beaten by even more sophisticated versions that also offer steam cooking.
This microwave is definitely OTT for a single guy - but I love it!

1/4" BSP compressor regulator with oil lubricator and water trap.
2 of 2 found this helpful As I don't use my compressor very much, and it was fitted with a basic regulator without a water trap or lubricator, I looked around for a replacement at a sensible price. This one fitted the bill and the price was right so I ordered it.
I must admit the regulator is not as well made as the original SIP version it repalced but it works well, is simple to adjust, and certainly looks the part. So far I'm more than satisfied that this is doing the job but obviously time will tell.
It's obviously a "budget" Chinese made non branded piece of kit sold by umpteen different suppliers under their own name but as long as it works well and keeps on working who cares?

Stacks of Dremel style accessories in one place.
I use a Dremel style tool frequently and am always running out of sanding discs, cut-off discs, abrasives and other consumables in the middle of jobs. This is convenient and affordable way to buy a stack of accessories at one time in a convenient segregated container that can easily be topped-up later.
