Wera quality and performance; Wera delivers again! Works with small JIS screws.
Now made in the Czech Republic; they used, to be Made in Germany, I don't now, if this affects their production quality. I bought these for the small JIS screws; that come on Japanese products, like cameras. They fit fine and JIS Japanese camera screws; come out, undamaged. Wera, notes, on their website; that small drivers, are modified, for the JIS fasteners and based upon my testing, this seems to be true. I would recommend these; for anyone, working on small precision fasteners and wants a superior made driver with excellent grip, ergonomics, fastener fitment, easy removal of those fasteners without damaging them. One thing to watch out for; if you use these with solvents, WD40 or other lubricants, be careful with what you clean these with; I ended up cleaning them with WD40 and the lettering came off, so regular soap/water, maybe the way to retain the imprinted markings on them. I have many of these Wera Kraftform Micro screwdrivers; in various tip types, (regular slotted, torx, phillips, etc.) and they all work well. Again, Wera delivers; on another excellent screwdrivers set! :)

Great book, for Rolleiflex TLR fans, collectors and users. Buy it now! :)
Excellent overview of the history, the various models produced and even som technical info, about maintaining your Rolleiflex TLR camera! I have been looking for a book, that would explain, all the different models of the class Rolleiflex TLR cameras (which can be a bit confusing to positively identify); that were made over the years. The pages have great technical info, excellent photos, provide a overview of the history of Rollei as a company and identify the various changes, they implemented over the many years of production. The back of the book, has some technical info, about the mechanics of these cameras and some advice about purchasing one of your own. The model info is educational, there is even coverage, of the various accessories Rollei made for these cameras, the background info about Rollei is interesting and as I read it, I am filling in my understanding of the evolution of the classic Rollei twin lens reflex cameras, that were produced in their heyday. A very well thought out book, thorough in documenting; so much info, that can hard to find in one book, from so many sources, scattered all over the place and this one, puts it all in one place.
Overall, many have said, this is the best overall book on Rolleiflex TLR cameras and while, I haven't checked out all of the others out there, this seems to be a great book overall. Many others are older, do not cover such a wide range of models and it is nice, that this book is a relatively current published edition, is nicely designed, has beautiful photography and is definitely worth checking out. If you have been looking for a good book about classic Rolleiflex TLR cameras; I would definitely recommend this one! :)

Original VW part: OEM fuel pump relay by Stribel! Fixed my occasional; fuel pump activation problem and no start issue!

This is a genuine Volkswagen part; the oem is by Stribel and so, if you want it cheaper, buy it under the Stribel brand. Note: MSRP at a VW Dealer is over $60 USD!
After 17 years of use, my original fuel pump relay; was causing me a "no start" condition but eventually, it would start. I did a quick scan for trouble codes; a number of codes popped up, they were for "short to ground" and they listed a number of fuel system related parts (e.g. injectors, purge valve, etc). It would seem, to be a remote possibility, that all these parts would fail at once and I noted, that all of the power to these parts, are supplied by the fuel pump relay. Everything pointed to the relay; so, I figured I would check it. I took the relay apart, cleaned the contacts and put it back together again, it showed some signs of heat and it worked fine, after the cleaning, polishing of all the internal contacts, external terminals.
I figured, it was time for a new one and installed the new one; left the old cleaned up one, as a back up in my glove box. The new one, is quieter, consistently allows the start up of the engine right away and I am glad, to have a new one, to not worry about another no start situation. I sprayed the contacts with some cleaner and added a light coating of dielectric grease; to keep corrosion down and maintain a good contact surface.
If you have problems with the fuel pump not kicking on; when the door opens, key is turned on or have a no start condition, it maybe time to replace your fuel pump relay! :)
