Better Than I Thought It Would Be
I'm really happy with this desk-top stand. The base and mast are heavier than I thought they'd be, so it's that much more stable. Yet, with the felt footers it's easy to slide around the table. When you have it all the way down the stand-off above the desk is only 3/4". So it's easy to use in that position (some other models stand high because they have some gearing or something below it and it's not practical to use when sitting). Do your research and see what type of stand works best for you. If you're considering this one, I highly recommend it.
