My overall rating of what I was sold is just “ok”
1 of 1 found this helpful My overall rating of what I was sold is just “ok” if you can use a stamped out hallow buckle that will probably struggle with a heavy leather belt. The term solid brass is not what it appears. The material may be solid brass but the buckle itself is a stamped piece of metal and hallow, very light weight which is why the seller did not image the backside of the piece. I think most people looking for a brass buckle expect it to be solid cast hence this term “solid brass.” So what I got is very light weight and probably won’t work with my heavy leather belt. Oh well, what ya expect for 5 bucks.
The education in eBay postings and what to watch out for was worth the 5 bucks. I added a new photo that shows where I grinded the fittings down which reveal steel not solid brass like the add states.
