Perfect fit, replacement for 99 Chevy Suburban K1500

Perfect fit for a 1999 Chevy Suburban K1500. I had a persistent leak at the seal of the rear slip yoke, replacing the seal yielded no real results. Decided to replace the rear slip yoke (and driveshaft, since it is included) and the leak has stopped. I only wish the rear slip yoke was available to purchase separately from the driveshaft, but it is what it is.

Perfect replacement for 1999 Suburban K1500

Replaced a faulty 4WD control module in my 1999 Chevy Suburban K1500. With the old module, the light corresponding to the activated setting would not remain illuminated. I didn't know if this was a problem with the wiring or the module. After installation of this module, the indicator LED stays lit. Switches between driving modes reliably. Perfect fit, easy plug-in replacement. Took less than 5 minutes to make the replacement.

Mostly a good kit, but there were some issues

For the most part, this kit was great. I only had two issues. First, the in-line 100-amp fuse holder is junk pot metal. Tightening down the clamp screw on the fuse leg caused the clamp to split, rendering it useless. Second, I couldn't believe that the power distribution block for the positive 12V lead was not fused. Add your own fused distribution block or you could end up sending 100 amps down the split 8 gauge wires! Other than those issues, all the included wire is of high quality and works perfectly!
