Nice Hutch for the price
2 of 2 found this helpful The materials are pretty good and not too difficult to construct based on pictorial instructions, just a hammer and small philips screwdriver are needed, but still it took me about 3 hours by myself. I had ro buy sturdier latches for the 2 doors however. The ones it came with are very lightweight and flimsey, not secureable, definately not racoon proof! I'm worried that a wild animal could get under the frame somehow because it's not heavy,
will need to augment/reinforce the lower border frame somehow. Other than that, I'm pretty content with it overall. It's the right size for a few hens for safety at night, and while away, but not really big enough to keep them in 24/7. I intend to let them roam my garden during the daytime.
