Very Slow WiFi and the 4K vision mosty won't show vehicle number plates.
Great 4K recording quality, except it is not good enough to read vehicle number plates in most instances, so you can't provide usable evidence of drive off incidents or the reporting of extremely bad drivers to Police. If you do want to download a captured video, the WiFi connection is so slow, you need to sit in the vehicle with the ignition turned on for up to 15 minutes for just one file, so downloading the front and rear files for two or three timeslots takes ages. I found it so much quicker to remove the unit, pop out the SD card and plug it into a laptop. You only get what you pay for with this unit.

Hurry up and WAIT, Shimano Steps spare parts support in Australia is pathetic to non-existent and eBay orders from overseas are extremely slow.
Shimano powered eBicycles are a great performing product, when thay are working, but if you have a break down the spare parts support in Australia is near nonexistent. I have been waiting on the authorised Shimano service centre to get a replacement for the suspected broken sensor cable, noting that the fault still hasn't been properly diagnosed and confirmed, as the Dealer's laptop with Shimano diagnostic software won't communicate with the bike, so the cable is only thought to be the reason the electric motor won't work. I have been without the use of the bike for three months now and it was an essential part of my rehabilitation from a full knee replacement. The Authorised VIC Australia Shimano Dealer said there are no spare parts sensor cables in stock with Shimano Australia, so we waited for 2 months on Shimano AU, whilst the bike sits disassembled at the dealer, before placing a separate personal eBay order from Germany four weeks ago. This delivery is currently 10 days overdue and unlikely to arrive for my much-needed knee rehabilitation exercise rides this year. I would never recommend a product, or a manufacturer that has such poor spare parts support and is so complicated that even the OEM's diagnostic software cannot pinpoint the fault accurately, requiring expensive guess work parts replacement that takes months because of no spare parts support in Australia and has an incredibly long lead time for international supply chain spare parts. I recommend you buy any other eBike other than one with Shimano Steps electrical components.
