Cute book for preschool gardeners!
I read this book to a group of preschoolers (ages 3-5) before we planted a flower garden in our preschool garden plot. The book is very sweet and the perfect length for preschoolers. The only thing I would do differently is to familiarize the children with the poem "Mary Mary Quite Contrary" prior to reading this book. It is not necessary for then to know the poem, but it would be helpful in connecting them with Lola's story.

Nice assortment for use with many crafts!
I bought these for my preschool students to use in crafts. I like that these are wood instead of the typical plastic ones we usually use for projects. The colors are nice and bright. I can't wait to use these!

Small flip book for group use
The stories in the flip book are cute, and my preschoolers enjoy doing the motion and sounds. However, the pages are very small for use with a group. I didn't like the CD at all, which is just a narration of the flip book stories set to music.
