I made a good purchase by purchasing the Navigator
2 of 2 found this helpful The Navigator had every option I wanted. It is a beautiful black color with beautiful custom alluminum rims and low profile tires. It was exactly what I was looking for.
However, when we got home we found the Navigator had some minor problems. One of the front grills wasn't on the truck. The passenger's-side door handle simply fell off on the ride home from the purchase. We found a lumbar handle on the passenger seat was missing. And last week, the shifter handle slid up off of the shaft and had us stranded 50 miles from home. We'll probably have an additional $400-$500 in repairs to fix these items.
Therefore, we haven't had the best luck with the Navigator to date. Albeit we're a little frustrated with these mishaps, the Navigator is still a good value compared to what I'm finding on area listings. The previous owner was very cordial and courteous to work with. Once all the items are repaired, I feel we'll have a great vehicle for years to come.
