Good RAM kit for its price
Well, the title sums my opinion rather nicely - it's a good value DDR4 RAM kit for anyone with a spare couple of memory banks in their laptop (or anything else that uses SO-DIMM memory). The memory itself is bog standard CL15 DDR4-2133 and so it should be fine for daily use, but don't take overclocking for granted. Only reason I'm giving it 4 outta 5 stars is that the RAM prices are higher than at the same point in the DDR3 cycle and are only getting bigger

Great budget upgrade for older computers
1 of 1 found this helpful Well, as the title of this mini-review states, this is a great little drop-in upgrade for older AM2/AM2+/AM3 boards on a budget. I personally ordered two of these puppies to bump a single core (3500+) and a dual-core (4800+ OC'd to 2.75) Athlon 64 and the bump in speed is rather noticeable in day-to-day usage. I did some quick benchmarking and Passmark shows a 5x bump over the single-core and ~2 over the 4800+ ... as long as they're used stock that is.
I personally lucked out on both chips and managed to unlock the dormant 4th core with all the extra muscle in it :) and the L3 on the second chip ;)
A bit of warning to prospective unlockers and tweakers - the seller ships both Deneb and Propus 435's , so ... don't count on the potential L3 cache) and also as always - the 4th core isn't a sure thing, so don't buy this baby unless it will fit your usage scenario even if it doesn't unlock anything.. Regardless of the unlock, you can also try to undervolt this baby a bit (depending on the 4th core's status and particular part you can shave more than .2V which does wonders for its heat output).

Not the fastest SSD on the planet, but you can't argue with the price
I'll keep this one brief - this SSD isn't anywhere near the 850Evos of the world in terms of performance, but for the price it's a good investment ESPECIALLY if you have a spare mSATA in your laptop. It still has a decent performance edge over a classic hard drive(according to AS SSD):
Sequential read speed is ~250MB/s vs 63MB/s (a standard 2.5'' laptop drive)
Write speed - 150MB/s vs 59 MB/s
4K (R/W) - 12/47 vs .46/.95
4K-64QD(R/W) - 110/94 vs .57/60
Access time - .317ms vs 3.612
All in all, this bugger makes for a nice, cheap upgrade for a laptop
