Bring back the memories!
Have had Miami Vice as my main ringtone for a couple years now, but am new to Ebay. Discovered all kinds of "older" CD sellers on Ebay and got a hankerin' for some of the old classic music from this original TV series with Crockett and Tubbs. What I was really looking for was the "Evan" theme which was not on iTunes. This CD is the only way to go (vs. iTunes) because it has two other songs on it which I didn't see on iTunes either that are must haves for reminiscing on the old TV show: Flashback and Chase - two great, mood-setting pieces. Had forgotten Vice, but as soon as I heard it from the CD, it was so neat - even remember the words from 25 years ago! Enjoy, especially if you liked this show.
(Sound quality isn't as deep as newer, all digital music these days, but hey, it was recorded in the early to mid-80's - they didn't have the technology they do today, so just be aware of that when buying).

A fun fantasy, even for adults, and Sci-Fi nuts
I'm probably the oldest guy to like Avril Lavigne's music (her early stuff), but heard of this movie thru her song "Keep Holding On", which, unfortunately plays at the end during the credits. Nonetheless, the story line is simple and plausible for the movie version. I have not read the book, but according to Wikipedia things progress differently towards the end than in the movie (so what's new?), because there are actually two more books in this trilogy, of which this is the first.
It was just a great feel-good movie where the bad guys really get their due (and John Malkovich plays the evil king, which he acts so well). The lack of a British accent w/him is the only thing askew w/his character. Everyone is cast well and I especially think Jeremy Irons was well cast for his role as Eragon's dragon riding tutor and mentor. Other critics/reviewers make the point that the effects are akin to Star Wars, but I liked the Star Wars series, so it didn't bother me any. People will find a lot of faults with the movie, but I just like finding a movie that's not so evil and that is light and entertaining. (Another favorite is "Ever After" with Drew Barrymore, if that tells you my tastes). Saphira's flight scenes are the most fun; great CG effects.
This is one I'd really like to see made into a sequel; the author has written the book. However, this didn't do well at the box office, so we're probably out of luck for Eragon Part II.
Fun fact (learned from the Wikipedia reference); the name Eragon is simply "Dragon" that starts with an "E" instead of "D"!

Awesome Upgrade fr prior Braun Shavers
Very pleased with this upgrade! I'm coming to this product as a long time (15 year) Braun rechargeable shaver user and was skeptical about the cleaning device. But I'm glad to have made the upgrade. The shaver is quieter and does a much better job of contouring the face. It doesn't feel underpowered, but it does take several passes below my chin. Still a very close shave and the cleaner/lubrication device does a good job. Happy to read elsewhere that if you remove the bottle of fluid from the cleaning device and put the cap on between uses (e.g. to use it once a week), it prolongs the life of the mostly alcohol-based liquid.
