Nice controller

Ok if you get one of this controllers for a 120v (G5 color 120v light) make sure you connect the red wire to your pool light wire. Black (blue) from GFI to your controller and whites to common white. Give a turn to the dial and give it few seconds, the light will turn off and then on to the dial light you choose. Again; Black (Blue) color from GFI box to controller, white from box to controller and to pool white, RED to current light on pool...120V only, Light and controller...
