Beware!

I bought this footswitch for an older model Music Man amplifier. I did not realize that the Music Man needs a shielded ground wire for both the reverb and tremolo circuits. The Fender amp does not need this feature, so it will work with a Fender amp. Because the wire is not shielded, it will pick up noise (just like a single coil pickup) from neon lights and radio stations. There is also a lot of noise from just handling the wire if it is coiled up.
