NIKON AF-S TELECONVERTER TC-14E Ⅱ 1.4x

Achieves what it's designed for

I run this converter on a 500mm F/4 and wow does it excel. There's a slight increase in contrast but I find opening up a 1/3 of a stop helps. The autofocus remains super fast and the resulting images at 700mm are astonishing. Tack sharp with no loss of detail. I've also popped it on a 70-200mm 2.8 and although the images are not as super sharp as the 500mm they're perfectly adequate. Great product. Love it.

New Alpine Motosafe RACE Ear Plugs

Great ear protection. I don't leave home without them.

I bought the Tour version earlier this year and then promptly lost them. They were great though, really reduced the wind noise at speed in my helmet. I replaced them with the latest Race version and can honestly say they are better than the Tour, much better noise isolation and I can still hear the comms through the Sena system in my Shoei Neotec II. These soft earplugs are comfortable even after wearing them for some time, the little plunger used to plug them into each ear is great as I can really get them snug into my ears. I now keep the little zippered pouch on my bike keyring, not losing them again. They're a bit dear but I can highly recommend them.

Featherweight Cabin Bag Option

I love this bag, it's super light affording the traveller the opportunity to fly with nothing other than on-board luggage. No hovering around the baggage carousel, just head straight for the exit. There's some nifty internal zip pockets and external storage areas too. The wheels are non-obtrusive and do not protrude which allows for additional space within the bag itself. One could buy a non-wheeled bag which is even lighter but 7kgs of luggage hanging off your shoulder does take its toll after a while. For 1.5kgs this is my go-to bag for travel.
