Works. And maybe last longer.
It came new out of the box. But new. This is a newer design that came with the latest drill I bought for business and home (3 total).
The older design kept going bad and I didn’t even leave them plugged in after charging.
I do use a line surge protector now. Just in case. Time will tell.

Great sound sturdy product
The sound is great and powerful.
I did need to open up The mounting holes to fit my 62 Vette. But it could be the bezel on the car was off. It’s old. A sturdy product.
