PLATINUM Fountain Pen PTL-5000A #70 Standard 14K Medium Red NEW from Japan

smooth writer

This is a well made pen, and I wanted to try a 14K nib, so when a decent value presented itself, I got one. There are more flexible nibs out there, but I'm still learning, so I'm not going to knock the pen while I continue to learn. It is light in the hand and doesn't tax me to use it for long periods of time, but the best point of the pen is how smoothly it moves across good paper. The included cartridge is nice, too.

Great Pen!

This pen is a universally admired one, and the one I purchased here is a great value. It was sold as used, but also as a quality item, and that is precisely what it turned out to be. After a careful cleaning, it was put right to work and has performed flawlessly. I really like the black matte finish, and did not know about it being an available choice.

there is an astounding number of these type devices out there, and they all do some things well, other things not so well. This one, which I'd never heard of before, is the best all around. sound quality, reliability, and the voice activation and alerts are the best functioning of the many I've tried.
