Don't Believe All The Hype

There is a lot of hype regarding Better Call Saul. If you have seen, Erin Brochovich, Then you have seen the premise for this 10 part selection. Don't get me wrong, I was a huge fan of Breaking Bad and I have waited for this to hit DVD.. Needless to say, this is Not Breaking Bad and the show in general was a let down, Seriously. I must say that I too believed the hype (by the production company and spin doctors) and we have all been led to believe that this is the greatest thing to hit television since before and after Breaking Bad. It Is Not. While the main caricature (Jimmy/Saul) is portrayed as the lead up to breaking bad, the story drags at times with many scenes that are just to boring to not fast forward through. BCS misses out on the engaging story, drama, suspense, humor and most importantly, Plot Twists of Breaking Bad. Whether you were a fan of Breaking Bad or Not, this does not live up to it's fore runner, nor to the hype that the promotional ad agency would want you to believe. Save your money now, let the price drop and pick it up at heavily discounted rates in the near future when everybody else has gotten in. It is not worth the premium asking price - unlike it's fore runner the award winning Breaking Bad.

Delmore Brothers Box Sets (volumes 1 and 2)

Contains Many treasures and well worth the $$. Songs like "Everybody Loves Her" beautifully clear and remastered to cd, Excellent sound quality throughout, with and with out the original 78's rpm's pop's and/or hisses... Too many fiddle, Vocal, harmonica and guitar favourites to list. If you are thinking of buying this collection, do your self a favor and get both box sets., Oh and don't miss "Everybody Loves Her" , song 16 disc 4 in Volume 2 :)
