Tricky remote fix.
The remote for this model TV is a little flimsy to me. The original one started acting up the first year the on off button was starting to stick. Then it just stopped working. So I bought a new one right away. The real trick I later learned is to pull the batteries out go through and press every key on the remote, replace batteries or renew and the old remote worked like new. I like having an extra.

Well made, good fit and fair price. Drop it in and your good to go.

Humbuckers to Filtertron.
I swapped out the humbucker in a double cut LP copy with a Gretsch Filtertron it wasn't easy to install but it was wirth the work. If you are brsve enough to mod your guitar a little I think the sound makes up for it. This pickup is a beast it is wide open and makes a old common axe sound awesome. I had to carve out a little in the neck pocket and fabricate a bracket to mount the filtertron and fill in around the pickup with some black fian rubber but the pickup trim fit back on and it looks great.
