Did the Job
Replaced the original, broken grommet on a 2005 Honda Odyssey. Putting the new one on requires a bit of tenacity due to a tight fit but it's not technically difficult.
I put the grommet on the hood support rod first (rather than in the hole in the engine compartment). It's hard to get it to slide around the first right-angle bend. Rotating the grommet while pushing it around the bend seemed to help. In retrospect, putting a bit of soap on the rod might have made it easier.
Snapping the grommet/rod assembly into the receiving hole was also difficult due to a tight fit. What eventually worked for me was angling one side of the grommet into the hole so the clips engage the metal. Then I used a nail set and hammer to gently tap the rest of the grommet into place, starting next to where the grommet clips were already engaged and working my way around. It helped to have another person support the rod in the correct position while tapping the grommet into place.
There might be easier ways to do this but I didn't find them. A couple of YouTube videos made it appear to be easy to snap the grommet into the hole while on the rod, but that wasn't my experience. Maybe it has to do with the model of the vehicle since this part is used on many models. Nevertheless, I'd still do it myself than pay a mechanic because the job is fairly straightforward and takes less than 10 minutes.

Works As Intended
Works as advertised and is rugged. Converts a 6-pin plug on current GE replacement ice makers to the 4-pin plug design needed for older GE refrigerators. It took me a couple of minutes of fiddling to figure out where to position the extra cord length in the freezer, but it's manageable. I looped it down through the freezer's wire shelf and back up to the 4-pin power outlet.

Good Value
It's a generic battery but has worked fine for the first week of use. I won't know about its longevity until time passes. Previous batteries from other companies typically last at least three years in our phones. At least it didn't cost much if it fails early.
