One outstanding pool pump
Although this pump is more expensive, it is extremely quiet, offer variable speeds and has an electronic panel on top so you can set any operating time/length and pump speeds as you require. Even though my pump has been installed for less than two weeks, it should reduce my power bills since the pump does not run at full speed for its entire daily cycle. This pump is factory set to start at 8AM, runs at high speed(3400 RPMs) for the first two hours, lowers its speed to 1200 RPMs) for the next 10 hours, then speeds up a little to 1700 RPMs for the last two hours. Installation was a breeze since the intake and outflow ports were exactly the same location as my previous pump. But be aware, if you do not have a professional installer install the pump, the warranty is void. Since I am a DIYer and this was a very easy install, I just purchased a two year warranty through Square Trade for $38.
