The Raw and Uncut Life in 1944 with Servicemen/Women
2 of 2 found this helpful This movie is an epic. I watched it on original TV (B&W) days and it was fantastic. It launched my interest in the Navy later in life. It portrays almost all facets of life during the 40's. With a great cast of characters, to make raw uncut 1944 naval lives in a tropical area come alive. Showing life's difficulties and how war and love, can be so similar. I am so glad it is on DVD now to last for my children to see. Obviously one of my all time "Wayne War Favorites", up there with later colorized "Green Berets".

Classic Muscle Car and Police Action
Classic Movie that will be seen for many generations to come.With fuel prices the way they are and cars turning into hybrids and daisey's. The muscle car days are over and are subjects for our grandchildren now. Hold this timeless classic for your grandkids to watch.
