Trio+ is Great if Your Looking for a Jamming Partner
3 of 4 found this helpful I've had it for the better part of a month now and not disappointed and very exited of what it can do.
When properly fed clear cord/rhythm progressions learns and adds very usable bass and drum parts. Important to start with it set on correct styling and time signature then the Trio does the rest----not quite there, just try the other bass/drum stylings for your cord progression/part until it sounds right. Usually it gets it right the first time if you have done your part correctly.
The Looper, seqencer, simple bass parts, effects loop, pedal control jack, built in amp simulator/effects and etc are just great tools to help you build great song parts. The amazing thing about this box is with a little bit of familiarity with its operation, you can make great sounding full band sounds so very quickly. It sounds great through an amp or headphones but hook it up to a PA and it sounds huge and great at your command. I think I'm its #1 fan.

Old, out of Production but Still in Demand
1 of 1 found this helpful They quit making this pedal in 2002 but are still in demand. It's because it has very good digital reverb and delay sounds that covers most of what most people need for general urposes. Also the Combined reverb and delay setting are very useful.
It's what I would call guess I can say they are a good value. The prices are a little high truthfully but the reason is they are still in demand. I was able to get this one at a little lower price than the norm, so I did get what I would call a good deal. After 15 years of being out of production and still being in demand speaks highly of the RV3.
