Pipe water inlet
The installation takes a bit of time and a bit of craftsmanship. Need to turn off house water or isolate the leg. Cut into line with tubing cutter, not hacksaw. Slip nuts and then ferrules onto cut ends. Slip in main body and tighten both ferrule nuts. Then, cut 1/4" tubing to get fresh end, slip ferrule nut and ferrule onto tubing and tighten. Then turn house water on and check for leaks. Much harder than saddle type waterline tap. But much more professional and less likely to plug.
