Bought to replace the athlon in my old rig
Bought to replace the athlon ii x4 640 in my old rig much better multi core speed, idled at 30*C and 43*C after an hour at max load with a stock cooler definitely a formidable opponent for older i5s and prertt much your best option on older am3 board that dont support fx

Not 2.0 ready
Not ryzen 2000 ready so that was 2 weeks wasted returning my cpu but works fine now no problems
