1200X Zoom is terrific!
This is a great camera. I bought it because of the 1200X zoom. It is also so much lighter than my old camera with a 300X zoom. And the price was right. There are no additional lenses to buy. I sold my old camera and lens for substantially more than the cost of the SX50.
