Its all about the app, sadly the worst one I've ever seen.
2 of 2 found this helpful The device itself of course works, does exactly what it should. Its huge Achilles heel however; the app you must have to control/monitor the device.
I’ve never seen an app so bad. The menu structure is appalling with options all over the place, zero consistency anywhere and utterly illogical. When it has a problem the error messages are meaningless, why-o-why do app developers insist on using error messages that mean absolutely nothing to human beings. In short, the only thing it’s good for is a demonstration of how never to build an app. Not what you would expect from Omron. I could go on about its ECG printer output also being a complete mess but that’s enough -app for now.
The hardware design also has a fatal design flaw. Each time you want to use the app you have to tell the monitor to connect, which it has trouble doing. What makes that worse is it apparently powers off 20 seconds after it connects often not giving you time to negotiate the app. The only other button starts the blood pressure monitor but there’s no such button for the ECG.
May I suggest you have an ‘PWR’ button that cycles the powered state between ON & OFF initiating a 5/10/15 minute sleep timeout when set ON. Then either sort out the app or have two buttons for easy use; one for BP and one for ECG and get the display to accurately reflect what’s happening because flashing an ‘o’ is as pointless as the app’s messages.

Almost as good as the spice ladies at the markets
One of the better versions of Tom Yum paste. We use this over the jars which seem too oily and salty.
