very good live mioc
a decent live microphone. tried it in the studio and it was average quality, similar to the sm58/57. The increased output from the neo mag does lower the noise floor. Shure build quality makes this a very good choice for live.

Compact easy to change Battery-just wish On switch was more responsive.
Basic power protection of recording equipment hard drive. Compared to my older APC 500
the LED readout is a sold improvement. On/off switch is slow to respond. I leave the unit on except
when I know a storm is coming or out of town. The 500 was on only when recording equipment was
active. Acted like a master power switch which was useful.Not sure about transfer time but loss of power
and surges are a risk in bad weather. Almost all recharge battery equipment is migrating toi LIthium Ion.
but my run time in power outage is very short less than 1 minute so really not an issue.
