Dead Ringer Uni-Bead front shotgun sight

As other reviewers (I should have trusted them) have stated, the attachment screws provided were too long and therefore the housing was never fully seated on the rib and spun around. I tried a thin gasket and it raised the sight too far off the rib for my liking and still was not very secure. By the way, my shotgun is a 2 year old Browning Citori. So I figured I'd call the manufacturer in upstate NY because surely they've had this complaint presented to them before my purchase...the phone connection never went thru without an error recording...for 3 days straight. I then emailed them via there website, got confirmation that my question/issue went through and haven't heard back from them in a week and a half. Yep, I gave up and tossed the 2 Dead Ringer Uni-Bead front beads in the trash where they belong...20 bucks down the drain but an important lesson learned... don't ever buy a Dead Ringer product. Since then I purchased a HiVis Comp sight model PM1002 and love it. It easily mounted securely and although almost 3 times the cost ($27), the HiVis is much brighter and is 10 times the quality.

HiVis PM1002 Comp Sight

Tried two other front beads before finding the HiVis PM1002...the Dead Ringer Uni-Bead which was impossible to snug down tight on my Citori...the screws were too long, and a TruGlo that mounted too high above the rib. The HiVis is a quality made front bead that is simple and sturdy once mounted, sits low on the rib and is extremely bright with 4 bead size options. Save the headaches I went thru and buy this one.
