Good way to double the flash output of an internal flash.
Used as an optical slave speedlight, attached to the camera tripod connector with the supplied bracket, this flash fires when the internal flash fires. Using it with my Nikon 1 J1 camera I set it the toggle switches to S3 and Slave on. It's a great inexpensive way to roughly double the flash output. To really pump up the flash I bought a used Nikon SB26 speedlight for about $100, and use it with the same bracket. If you need an optical slave speedlight with many times more flash output, I think the SB26 is the best bang for the dollar.

A very good wide angle lens at a bargain price.
In order to auto focus this lens needs a Nikon camera with an internal focusing motor like my Nikon D7000. With the D7000 the autofocus is quick and accurate. The camera takes sharp pictures for most of the area of coverage, but sharpness drops off at the corners and edges. Some good points of this 15mm to 30mm lens is that it can focus at short distances so you can actually use it at 30mm like a macro lens. Another good feature is that even at 15mm, barrel distortion is at a minimum. It's a large, heavy lens and a good piece of glass. I'm very satisfied with it and believe it's one of my best lenses.

Great choice for a used computer for video editing
1 of 1 found this helpful At less than $300 this 4 year old PC is a great low cost solution for video editing. I added 2 more 4 GB ram chips bringing the total to 16GB. The Core i7-870 CPU overclocks regularly above 3.1GHz The ATI Firepro V4800 video card is able to stream HD youtube videos without any stalling or skipping. This PC renders and exports edited video clips from Adobe Premiere 9x faster than the new HP Slimline I bought last year for $275, when my $1,000 HP Pavillion 1380t died after less than 2 years of use. Considering the cost of an adequate PC for video editing, this used model is an excellent choice.
