Compact, stiff but comfortable
I have turned to the Soma Smoothie for touring after using a Litespeed Blue Ridge for years. They both have S&S couplers installed. Even though the Titanium Litespeed was a pound less in weight, the Soma is better because it does not flex. The geometry is better on the Soma. A quicker, more nimble bike. And of course you spend $1500 less with the Soma to get it new with couplers versus a titanium touring bike.

Capri workbench vice
I got this vice as my old one stripped the threads out after 26 years of use. Size and height of the Capri fit closely to my old vice which was of high quality steel. This one is made in Taiwan and is a definite step up from the cheap China steel Yost I had for one day before I returned it. Pricey, but still better than a China steel vice.
