My review of A common life by Jan Karon
This book that takes place in a delightful little town in Mitford, North Carolina, is a great read Jan Karon writes in such a way that takes you right in among her believable characters. Father Tim, Cynthia, Dooley, Harley, Sadie and even mean ole Edith, and makes them family.
I loved reading about Tims and Cynthia's wedding, just one more of thier adventures together.
I am sad though that there are only 9 of the books. I hope she sends us word of our extended family by way of another book, very soon

My review of Francine Rivers, The Scarlet Thread
3 of 3 found this helpful This book is a riveting read from start to finish. A book with both modern day and historical romance, intrigue, hardships and surprises. A must read for those who love God and the way only He can turn chaos into perfection.
