A SmartStart is a Smart Idea for Off Grid A/C

My house is powered by an inverter and it could not quite start the central a/c compressor without this device. Now, the compressor starts effortlessly without even the slightest blink. It really works. This would be great for anybody in a boat, motor coach or running on generator or solar.

Misleading description, but an adequate product at a good price

I give this a qualified recommendation. They are T5 size, but not T5 lights. There may well be 2000lm, but NOT EACH. These are not very bright but all combined they provide adequate but not "super bright" light like real shop lights. Having established that, they are easy to use and come with a number of wiring options. Since I installed mine in a 40' shipping container I wish the interconnect cables were a little longer to spread the string out further. With the provided pigtails you can make your own longer interconnects. I MIGHT buy them again, knowing what I am getting, but I was initially disappointed that the description was misleading, if technically correct. You certainly cannot beat the price.
