Works well for me!

Only permits landscape view, but if you can live with that it works very well. On my Scenic2 the part of the dash hood I use slopes down to the right, so the phone is held on a slant, but I can tolerate that. Grips well and doesn't 'pop out' the way other holders can, and it is happy to hold my thick old phone with a silicon case on it and an attachment on the back of the case. Other holders all need a slim phone with no case and nothing projecting from the back.

Mine was faulty from new.

Sadly, the one I bought simply didn't hold a charge. Not even for 12 hours. Otherwise this would have been a great little keyring torch, very bright and extremely light. Comes in a useful (perhaps . . . ) water tight transparent plastic box you can carry keys/money in whilst sailing/surfing or whatever.

Don't buy cheap!

Don't buy cheap! I had a good one of these for many, many years, and when it finally broke I bought these to replace it with. The one I was using failed within three weeks. These do not have the quality I need. The old one slipped back together with a simple press, this has to be manually manipulated to get it together. Then one of the little balls fell out, and it's useless. I'm using a second one of the three, but it won't last long. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
