Gave it time...
When it gives out it's frequency, a red light goes on and I could mildly hear it. I was worried it would bother my dog, but after watching his ears as it "clicked"... I did notice his ears twitch toward the device, but we both became obliviant to it over time with the occasional notice. Did it work? Not for me...i placed these in different areas and over time the pests returned to the area.

Decided to splurge
I Decided to go with a bigger size to share with my for hikes. Can tell this will last. Just fill it with some ice and my water was filed even to the next day! Will pay for itself eventually if you replace the water bottles. Kept my water cold through a hike and being left in a hot car. Plus water bottles deteroite over time and this can take a few hard knocks. Very happy with this canister

Usually a fan of mophie case but...
I've used other models of mophie charge cases and they were always worth the price. This design is horrible. Hard to get in and out doesn't always get a charge from the wall to the case or the case to my phone. It doesn't protect. First day in the new case and my phone got cracked, not the exposed glass area, but the "protected" back. Will not buy this model again. Not as durable and offer protection as other models
