Pins came bent, but works great
One of the connectors, the SATA power side, came with the pins lifted off the plastic. Once I pushed these back down with a pretty significant amount of force, all was well. But if the pins had gone down slightly vertical when i was fixing it they could have shorted and caused a fire or something. So while the product works great when it is as intended, be wary of the quality of the product. Once fixed, does exactly what you'd expect for a good price, so that's good.

RAID works great, battery does not
0 of 1 found this helpful Works great in my HP Z420, able to get a RAID 5 set up no problem. Unfortunately the battery is not functioning whatsoever. It is very much dead and bulging. The ROM menu reports that the battery has failed and needs replaced. So I'm not sure how their testing works, but clearly not all issues are identified. Other than that it works perfectly and I will eventually figure out the battery problem, just kind of annoying.
