Aliens 4k UHD. Using my 4k player, 75" high end Samsung (no Dolbyvision) this is A mazing. Better than in the theater. Bright, sharp, another fine example why 4k UHD remasters are the absolute best for older movies, using a dedicated 4k player. Six stars, not five.

French Postcards 2016 release

"Presented with the original music found in the theatrical release" (from DVD case) This 2016 release has restored the songs that were in French. The VHS and the 2008 DVD releases used other music, if you've watched them, enough said. The Blu-ray video quality is good, much improved over standard DVD, but keep in mind this was filmed in 1979, before hi def, so it will not be as perfect as something filmed in hi def Last word, there's a great L Jeans ad in here, Madison Av please watch !

Great. Cannot say more than others have already. 4k UHD is the best you can get. I Went from a LP hatbox to cd rack system in 1982. The jump in quality and tech is so huge. 4K UHD remasters, using a dedicated 4k UHD player, are the best that will ever be. Hoping for Where Eagles Dare, Sound of Music, Taras Bulbas, and The Comancheros and 99+ others.
