This is indeed a 1/2" thick plate. And ...
This is indeed a 1/2" thick plate. And is seems to be fairly close to square, but the welding is some of the worst quality I've ever seen and I'm hoping it doesn't come apart under pressure.

The bottom tabs needing about 1/2" groun...
The bottom tabs needing about 1/2" ground off them to fit John Deere's global quick attach. One of the ears was also welded a bit crooked, so I had to use a die grinder to make the hole larger so the locking pin would slide through. The bolts that act as a pivot for the levers had washers on both sides and should have only had washers on one side. This was preventing the springs from tightening on the levers to keep them from flopping down when open. Otherwise, decent adapter plate.
