Mendini Nickel Plated Mini / Pocket Trumpet +Tuner+Stand+Case

Quirky but still fun to play
So far, I'm very pleased with my Mendini Pocket Trumpet. It has a big sound for such a small horn and is great for just goofing around and daily practices. There are some issues with the horn that apparently is common this this particular instrument. The intonation is not exact in all registers. The lower register notes tend to go flat and upper register notes go sharp. I've also just noticed that the valves stick on occasion but with some ingenuity, this can be remedied with either manipulating the valve springs or using some emory cloth to smooth down the valves a wee bit. Another weird thing about the horn is the spit valves don't remove the moisture from the horn as good as they should but I've learned to position the horn to get the most spit removed as I can at a blow. Despite these oddities, I really like this pocket trumpet. I read reviews about it prior to buying one and it was rated in the top 10 of pocket trumpets. It is fun to play and has a huge sound for the size of the horn. It doesn't take up much space and is very portable. If I was going to play in public however, I probably wouldn't play this horn but would play my full sized trumpet instead unless I'd successfully gotten the quirks such as the occasional sticking valves issue worked out first. Nevertheless, for the price of this wee trumpet, it's well worth the investment and I'm quite pleased with my purchase.

Good For The Money
The GPX MW3836 (1GB) (1 GB 250 Songs) MP3 Player appears to be a pretty good little no frills MP3 Player for the money. I ran into a glitch transferring music to the device but gpx.com has great troubleshooting information and I was able to resolve my problem in a matter of minutes. If using Windows Media Player the Copy Protection box must be UNCHECKED or your music will transfer but the device will read error and will not function. I'm taking the GPX with me on a long trip so I'll give it a workout and see how it performs on the long haul. If you're looking for an easy to operate MP3 player, this will probably meet your needs. You just transfer your tunes and that's it. There is no need to profile tunes, etc. The thing I don't much like about it is that there is no quick way to jump to a song you are searching for without having to hold the forward/backwards button down to get to the desired song. Otherwise if you're looking for a device to store music and to just plug it in and let it rip, this might just be your low budget device. I got over 650 rockabilly tunes on the device but of course, rockabilly tunes are rarely over 3 minutes long.

Kills Fleas DEAD!
You just can't beat Advantage with a stick. It kills fleas fast and is safe to use. I've tried other products but only wasted money. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with Advantage.
