Super V
I can't say enough about this classic instrument! It's deep rich Jazz tones just warm the spirits, I also own a L5 Wes Montgomery and a L5 Lee Ritenour so I have a good bases to compare it to. The floating pickup adds another dimension of sound that only it can bring simular to the L5 Rit but much deeper and richer because of the body size difference. The 17" body size is perfect not over sized like the Super 400. I love the tone of the Super 400 but it's just way to much guitar for me, it's a personal comfort level thing. I always felt the L5 head stock looked a bit small so the addition of the Super 400 neck satisfied the small appearance of the L5 head stock IMOP. All in all I could not be happier with this instrument and look fwd to playing it for a very long time, it's a keeper
