Used in Behringer MIC200
I have owned a few tube amps over the years, Fenders and a 5150 but never moved past 12AX7 tubes because all my stuff sounded great and I didn't put any thought into it.
I bought a Behringer MIC200 pre-amp that I use as a guitar, bass or vocal preamp through an Electro Harmonix 44 Magnum power amp when I need a very small setup. I was always surprised at the good quality of the Behringer, how much use I got out of it, and how huge that tiny setup sounded out of a 4x12. But still I wished the sound was slightly less harsh.
I read a post somewhere in my research that suggested a 12AU7 so I gave it a go. I'll be damned it did exactly what I hoped: soften the attack and brightness a touch without changing what I liked about the preamp. I'm curious what these would do to the sound of my 5150.

Perfect fit for MIM Jazz Bass
I have a 1995 Made in Mexico Fender Jazz bass. I have used it on stage for ten years now and it always held a tune, but I always had trouble getting it in perfect tune . The tuning pegs were definitely not precise and I had trouble with the E string especially.
I have bought several Hipshot products over the years: A bridge for this same Jazz bass, an awesome bridge for my Univox hi-flier bass, locking tuners for my Eastwood baritone guitar and for a Gibson Melody Maker and they have all been improvements, so of course I checked there first for direct replacements for the J. Good company.
These tuners fit perfectly on the MIM Jazz with no new screw holes necessary. The tuning is much more precise.
These tuners were an easy, worthwhile upgrade.

Good for singing into guitar fx pedals.
I bought this to use with my Line 6 M9. Guitar into the left input, this Nady mixer into the right. Sounds great. This was all I needed it for, but the four inputs has also allowed me to use a drum machine and Kaossilator, along with the vocals. Great versatile device and the battery lasts a long time.
