    Sextant arrived well packaged and in very good condition. While the description was minimal (I assume that the seller has little experience with sextants), the photos were very helpful to determine the overall condition. I checked over the sextant, had to make one very minor adjustment and the sextant is now very accurate. I agree, the artificial horizon does appear to be new or very lightly used. Very good value and shipped very soon after I purchased.
