Quiet and efficient operation

I bought a refurbished unit from a local source here on eBay. The price was right and I picked it up at the seller's place. Out of the box the AC showed significant signs of use causing some concern about it's ability to function properly. Turned out that it works just fine and it is operating so much quieter than the basic window AC unit that I had bought for 100 bucks and used for 2 seasons before replacing it with this one because of the noise factor. I'm using this AC in a 110 sq ft attic room that that functions as my home office and even with the unusually hot days in the New Jersey this summer I have not had any problems with cooling the room down to comfortable levels. I also like the low profile mounting in the window as it allows more light to come through the small attic window that I mounted it into. The unit is somewhat heavy so it helps to have a second person around when mounting it. The power consumption is lower than the basic unit that I used before. Another feature I like is the economy mode. I use that whenever I'm leaving the room for a short period of time and it keeps the temperature as desired at lower activity of the fan and lower energy consumption. In respect to the experience with buying a refurbished unit the only negative thing I found is the flimsy front panel that holds the filter should have been replaced as part of the refurbish process as two of the locking tabs had been broken off. Since the AC works so well I decided against exchanging it and I fixed the problem with two small Velcro patches that turned out to be the perfect solution. All in all I'm very pleased with my purchase. For some 150 bucks I switched from noisy energy guzzling mechanically controlled AC to a quiet, electronically controlled unit with energy star rating. Feels like a good deal to me.

TYC Starter Motor - 1997 Ford Ranger 4.0L V6 op

Perfect fit and performs flawlessly.

I was a little skeptical based on the low price. The starter arrived quickly in the mail and I decided to install it right away. It was easy to use install and fit perfectly. It cranks the Ford 4.0l engine effortlessly. Great product at a bargain price.
