Mustn't be using it correctly

Ended up using an ordinary foam roller for the job I bought this for. Not sure what I was doing wrong but the paint was splattering everywhere even though the blurb on the paint pot said it wouldn't. Also I'm sure the roller says it shouldn't. Either way disappointed.
