May as well be Pole Position
0 of 1 found this helpful This particular game is one step above the original Pole Position. The playability is about the same and the graphics are only marginally better. There are no other tracks, there is no season mode, it is only LeMans. There has to better LeMans games/sims out there...keep looking.

Good for a Mclaren red but....
I bought this to do some Mclaren F1 kits. In the past I had used a spray paint (with a TS) and didn't like having to spray 5 coats to get an actual fluo red finish. In my search for a paint to go in less coats I gave this a try. It is a pretty good fluo red, fairly close to Mclaren red but......it still took SIX coats! So, it's good but didn't go on any quicker.

Decent
I have this game on both PS2 and PSP. I actually find the PSP version easier to play. My one big gripe with this game is you can't set up your buttons how you want them, and i'm not in love with their set up. The play isn't quite that of a real table...how could it be, but with the lack of real tables out there to be played, it'll do.
The game comes with almost too many unlockables, one of which is customizing the ball. I found it much easier to play with the bright yellow smiley face ball than the silver ones as the silver ones blend in with the backgrounds rather easily.
Overall, I'd give it an 8 out of 10.
