Great features, but confusing programming of locomotives
1 of 1 found this helpful I would have given this product 5 stars if the directions for setting up engines was not so confusing. The directions for programming locomotives on the main track do not work - nothing happens - no change of address to the locomotive. The directions for programming on a service track were the ones that worked, after countless tries on the main track. There are several web postings that I found where other folks have had the same problem.
Otherwise, the product works great and I really enjoy being able to control multiple locomotives on the same track, even going in opposite directions!
Come on Bachmann, get your act together with the instructions! That should be an easy fix!

Great engine
This Southern Berkshire is everything I had hoped it would be. It’s very heavy, has great sounds, puffs smoke synced to speed, and is easy to operate. It is my first Lionel steam engine and I am delighted!
