Don't Scratch too long, it might become infected.
4 of 4 found this helpful Scratches is a game I neither liked nor disliked. Having played at least 100+ PC games in my time, Scratches only held my amusment for little over 2 days. By no means is the game "boring", but it is without individuality. This game puts you in a creeky old house where items have to be found and doors need to opened. I will admit, when you open any door within the game, you definatly get, well, scared. This is a cute "walk around find things" game but if your looking for great graphics, gameplay, etc, then walk right past it.
Overall, the game wasn't bad. It did lack a GREAT storyline but the one it has is fair and entertaining. If you are a fan of the game Syberia, you will be upset when you install it Scratches. This is just a good, not great, "walk around and find things" game.

Great game, fantastic graphics, great replay value.
enemy spawning is sometimes unfair. enemies get repeat themselves too much.
AWESOME game.

Funky controls, game is over-hyped.
2 of 5 found this helpful Being an obvious fan of THPS and every other game TH has, Skate was supposed to be a fork in the road that I was eager to take. to get right down to it,the controls are real clunky. I know that i am really used to TH games but the flip stick is hard to gauge. your timing has to be 100% perfect to do a grind or ollie on a ledge, etc.
even though the game's creators claim that the controls are better, you still have 4-5 buttons that have to be used to nail a trick. personally i dont like to the control stick as a trick button. you have to have perfect angles to do the trick, otherwise you just end up doing ollies or something you completly didnt want to do.
the graphics are awesome and the challenges are a welcomed change to that of TH games.
overall, the game and controls take some getting used to, like hours and hours of gameplay. but i would assume after you have MASTERED the flip stick or whatever its called, you'll enjoy and forget about TH.
