big bang for the buck
these are perfectly fine for a medium price range bass - they do the job flawlessly. However, they did not come with mounting screws be aware.

Great pedal for overdrive tone
Personal taste is of course an issue when it comes to tone and overdrive. I am into light overdrive that can be controlled by finger pressure and the guitar volume knob and this little box is my current favorite. You can back off enough to hear full chords clearly and lay into it to get a nice fat overdrive without changing settings on the pedal. And having bass and treble controls is also a big plus! Found it by accident looking for a Timmy - some say this is a clone of that pedal, never payed one so I don't know. But this has been very satisfying.

Sounds great!
These are a good compromise - no pickup ever sounds truly like the acoustic guitar, but these tailor the sound in a very pleasing way to my ear.
