Cordoba Protoge'
These Cordoba Protege are the best I have found for beginning children. Good quality for the price. Especially notable is the comfortable neck which makes playing less stressful for small hands.

I like it, even compared to my 60csx
1 of 1 found this helpful This 62st works just a bit different from my 60csx but it only takes a couple of minutes to learn the differences and then I found it easier to use. The 100k topo maps are more than enough for my needs as an active hiker and kayaker. I really like that the power on/off button is located on the side than on the top. Without the carabiner clip attached I found the contoured case of the 62st easier to hold than the 60csx, even with my big hands the 60csx will slip about as I try to operate the functions, this 62st much more stable to hold - that can make a big difference especially with wet/slippery hands. Since I prefer using a lanyard I see the 62st as a great upgrade from my 60csx, I'm keeping both,

ATH-M50x + FiiO E6 make a good couple
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought the Audio Technica m50x and FiiO E6 amplifier to use with my Audio Technica LP-120 turntable. Turned out to be a match made in heaven. I keep the FiiO amp paired with the headphones and can just plug direct into the turntable. I don't have the technical jargon but I can tell you it works good. The FiiO is the size of a matchbook and weighs next to nothing but it gives you volume control and balance. I listen mostly to classical guitar, symphony and chamber music and with the FiiO plugged into the mix, I can hear separation between the various instruments, without the FiiO the music kind of hits you "all at once." The M50 headphones are best I have ever heard, most comfortable, most adjustable, most "can't think of any reason to try anything else" headphones; like a good companion in life, when you finally find what you've always been looking for, just stick with him/her.
